Oysters Shallot Mignonette

Classic but delicious shallot mignonette recipe to share with your family and friends. Perfect for your Christmas spread.

Ingredients

2 whole shallots

1/4 cup Red wine vinegar

1 Tbs Salt

2 Tbs Sugar

Method

  1. Peel and finely dice shallots.
  2. Place in a bowl and add salt, sugar and red wine vinegar and stir well.
  3. Spoon mix into oysters.
 
Dressing can be left to sit to intensify flavours, or can be used straight away.
